Sunday Sermon
Just another bit of inspiration to which I believe in wholly.
"If you cultivate a healthy poverty and simplicity, so that finding a penny will literally make your day, then since the world is in fact planted with pennies, you have with your poverty bought a lifetime of days. Its that simple. What you see is what you get." ~~~Annie Dillard
Photo: Taken at a small nearly abandoned country church in a pretty much abandoned rural area called Acretown. I have quite a few family buried there from waaaaaaaay back. Would you believe the pic was a mistake and not intentional?

What a beautiful thought, Nicole. And a wonderful reminder to live every moment.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is gorgeous. Wish I could take such 'unintentional' photos ;)
I am not the tallest gal, so I stood on tip toe and put my camera up over the windowsill to get a picture of the inside of the then locked up church. I figured with the glass and the dark the picture would not look all that good, but I did it to at least see more of the inside. I took a few, but this one turned out in a actually pretty way. Go figure. My long gone relations must have been helping out that day.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you. I love what that quote represents. To take and see the good in simple gifts. Life is so much sweeter believing this way.
